The Global Brand Leader New Products will be responsible for maximising the business potential of future Chiesi products by providing “customer centric” commercial input with the aim to deliver commercial assessment for R&D development projects and guide the decision making on new in-licensing opportunities within Chiesi Neonatology & Special Care portfolio.

> Act as Commercial Leader in R&D project teams from preclinical throughout phase III, providing commercial input and guidance into Target Product Profiles and Product Development Plans. 
> Build business forecasts and deliver corporate brand strategy for projects in Chiesi pipeline based on input of internal and external stakeholders.
> Identify short- and long-term gaps and needs within the Neonatology & Special Care portfolio and collaborate with R&D, Global Corporate Development and Affiliates to propose and assess new opportunities, with responsibility for the commercial evaluation
> Present and discuss with Chiesi Top Management business forecasts and marketing strategies for both R&D projects and in-licensing opportunities.

> MSc Degree in Scientific disciplines (e.g. Medicine, CTF, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Veterinary) or Economic disciplines (e.g. Economy, Marketing, Statistics).
> PhD or Master/Specialization in scientific/economic disciplines is a plus.
> The ideal candidate has pharmaceutical marketing experience with business knowledge/commercial understanding and a good pharmaceutical R&D background.
> Minimum 4-year experience in the following disciplines (either in industry or in consultancy firm): Marketing & Sales, Pricing & Market Access, Business Knowledge, Business Development
> Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical market scenario
> Knowledge of market analysis
> Knowledge of forecasting 
> Basic knowledge of pricing & reimbursement principles
> Good understanding of human biology, pathophysiology and pharmacology
> Good understanding of drug development process
> Knowledge of competitive intelligence principles 
> Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Excel in particular)
